ORDINANCE NO. elA
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH JEFFERSON CITY
HOST LIONS CLUB FOR A SECTION OF THE CITY PARKING GARAGE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI_,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an agreement with Jefferson City Host Lions
Club for a section of the City Parking Garage.
Section 2 . The agreement shall be substantially the same in
form and content as that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3 . + This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and fter the date of its passage and approval.

This agreement, made this day of , 1990,
between the City of Jefferson, Missouri, a municipal corporation,
+f hereinafter "City, ” and the Jefferson City Host Lions Club, }

hereinafter "Club".
r WITNESSETH, that the City has demised and leased to the Club y
a the premises, situated in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, County
` of Cole, and State of Missouri, known and described as follows:

u The ground floor of the most recent addition to the
City's parking garage located at Madison and Capitol
Streets. (Riley Lot) SY.
�. To have and to hold the same, unto the Club, from 11:30 a.m. ,
July 4 , 1990, until 11:59 p.m, , July 4, 1990. In consideration of '
said demise, the Club does hereby covenant and agree with the City
& as follows:
1. The Club shall pay to the City at the office of the City

Clerk, the sum of ten dollars ($10.00) as rent of said leased
` remises. Said rent shall be due by the close of business on July

2. The Club shall use said leased premises solely to conduct
a "video arcade" of games between 12:30 p.m. , July 4, 1990, and
Irr 10:00 p.m. , July 4, 1990.
3. The Club has examined and knows the condition of said ,

the term of this lease, at its own expenses; and upon the

City or any City employee in posting or removing said signs. }
` 4. The Club shall, if it provides lighting, other than the
lights in the demised premises, food, or non-alcoholic beverages

`yu (a) Pay the entire cost of providing such lighting, food, or

to the City for the operation of said premises:
