ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
USE OF THE POWER OF EMINENT DOMAIN FOR' PURPOSES OF CLEARING TITLE `
AND ELIMINATING A REVERSIONARY INTEREST TO HOUGH PARK.
WHEREAS, The Parks & Recreation Commission was granted a deed
for a portion of the property currently known as Hough Park; and
WHEREAS, There were certain restrictions placed on the deed
which may impact operations and place a risk on substantial
investment; and
WHEREAS, The Parks & Recreation Commission is desirous of
eliminating the risks and certain of these restrictions; and 'ti+
'.41 WHEREAS, All known heirs have previously conveyed their r,a
- reversionary interest.
' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: �.
0 Section 1. That it is hereby determined that improvements to
and expansion of the Hough Park be made for the purpose of
improving safety and convenience of the public in a manner
necessary and convenient for public use.

Section 2. That it is hereby etermined that it is necessary

and desirable that the City Council shall clear title to and
' eliminate a reversionary interest to the following described real.
property lying wholly within the limits of the City of Jefferson,

in the County of Cole to wit:
The northerly art of Out-lot numbered 100 of the City

of Jefferson County and State aforesaid and more
particularly described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of said Outlot
southerly along the westerly line thereof 25 chains,
" thence easterly parallel with the northerly line thereof
20 chains to the easterly line of said Outlot, northerly
along the easterly line to the northeasterly corner
thereof;
thence westerly along the northerly line thereof
to the place of beginning, containing 50 acres. 1
