a AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
5. ORDINANCE 11310 ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1989-90 BY
AMENDING THE AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL CLASSIFICATION IN THE JEFFERSON
CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT PERTAINING TO THE POSITION OF POLICE
OFFICER AND REFLECTING RECEIPT AND EXPENDITURE OF GRANT FUNDS.
WHEREAS, The City has been approved to receive monies from the
grant designated for the Drug Abuse Resistance Education Program
(D.A.R.E.) which will necessitate the employment of two additional
police officers.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, Ordinance 11310 shall be amended by the deletion
of the following position to the list of authorized personnel in
the Jefferson City Police Department:

Section 2 . Ordinance 11310 shall be further amended by the
addition of the following position in the list of authorized
personnel in the Jefferson City Police Department:

Police Officer 43*
*The two positions designated as D.A.R.E. Officers shall be
authorized only if grant funds - are .available.
Section 3 . The General Fund Revenue (Grants) is hereby

increased by the sum of $13, 647. 00.
Section 4 . Account 1000 3100 1010 0100 (Salaries) is hereby
' increased by the sum of $18, 196. 00.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
