AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REPEALING
ORDINANCE NOS. 5798, 9441, 10987 AND 11333 PERTAINING TO THE K'
FIREFIGHTER'S RETIREMENT PLAN AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE IN LIEU `
THEREOF.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. All Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are
hereby repealed including Ordinance Nos. 5798 9441 10987 and s`s.
r 11333 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, which pertain to the
:.T Firefighter's Retirement Plan.

Section 2. The document entitled F
- " firefighter s Retirement
+; Plan", dated June 7, 1990, designated as Exhibit "A" and attached "
hereto, is hereby adopted as the official pension plan for the Fire
•. Department of the City of Jefferson.
r4 Section 3 . Any tax levy previously adopted by the people of

the City for firemen's pension purposes is hereby continued in full
force and effect until modified or discontinued in the manner
provided b law. An tax for firemen's purposes

be levied and collected in like manner with other general taxes of
the City, but the funds received therefrom shall be kept separate
'y and apart from all other funds of the City and shall be deposited
in a fund designated "Firemen's Pension Fund. " Any such tax shall
continue notwithstanding any changes made by the board of trustees ,;
in the manner in which benefits are provided to members of the Fire

Section 4 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effectY
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
