AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, MAINTAINING THE
LEVY OF A GROSS RECEIPTS UTILITY TAX FOR CITY R THE CI OF JEFFERSON
MISSOURI, AT ITS CURRENT RATE.

WHEREAS, The Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, provides
that Council shall pa ss an ordinance every year establishing the
Gross Receipts utility Tax rate.
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The present 5. 65% gross receipts tax on utilities
as set out in Section 17-204 shall remain in force.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.
