E AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELINQUISHING A
CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR STORMWATER PURPOSES OVER LAND LOCATED IN
I WESTWOOD SUBDIVISION AND IN SWIFT AND THOMPSON SUBDIVISION, IN
JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, by an easement recorded in Plat Book. 8, Page 125, of the
Records of the Cole County, Missouri, a sewer easement was granted a
to the City of Jefferson, a Municipal Corporation, to excavate
within, install, construct, maintain and repair structures for the
;a'Yf routing and conveyance of sewer in, under and through the lots,
tracts or parcels of land described in Section 1;

Section 1. The Council finds that the following described
easement is surplus property of the City and is no longer needed
for any public purpose:
All of the 15 foot drainage easement on Lot Q and Lot R as
shown on the replat of Lot Nos. 114 and 120, inclusive, and
Lot Nos. 134 to 148, inclusive, of Westwood Subdivision, Part
3, and part of Lot No. 1 of Swift and Thompson Subdivision,
in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, per plat of record in Plat
Book 8, Page 125, Cole County Recorder's Office.
Section 2 . The easement described in Section 1 is hereby
relinquished, and the City does hereby release and abandon
whatever interest it has in the easement.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
' execute any necessary legal document relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tract of ground described in Section 1.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect.
