BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS: o--
�; Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and K
directed to execute an Urban Agreement with Missouri Highway and
Transportation Department for demolition of St. Mary' s Bridge as it
pertains to the Missouri River Bridge project.
! t; Section 2 . The agreement shall be substantially the same in
form and content as that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A. 4'z

Section 3 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ”
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

(1) IMPROVEMENT DESIGNATION: The parties have y'

previously made and entered into an Urban Agreement covering a
public improvement designated as Route 54 , Cole-Callaway
Counties, Job No. 5-U-54-251 Said agreement, after this called
"original agreement", provides that the city shall be responsible '
'r for designing the plans, preparing the specifications and letting
and administering the contract for the portion of the improvement
on Bolivar Street. The city shall also be responsible for one
hundred percent (100 of the costs of
) preparing the plans,
specifications and construction on the portion of the improvement
on Bolivar Street.
In consideration of the mutual covenants in this
agreement to be faithfully kept and performed by each party, it
is agreed as follows:
(A) Paragraph 22 of the original agreement is hereby
amended as follows: The commission agrees to do the grading for
Bolivar Street from Station 14+25 to Station 17+49 .78 as shown on
Exhibit C. The city shall be responsible for one hundred percent

The cost for the excavation is estimated at $5000. 00
and is based on detail design plans prepared for construction
bids. Final costs will be based on actual bid costs and
constructed quantities by the contractor awarded the

(B) Except as altered, amended, or supplemented herein,

the original agreement shall be and remain in full force and
effect.
