AN ORDININCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE 11497 OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,MISSOURI,PERTAINING TO
THE PERSONNEL POLICY MANUAL BY AMENDING ARTICLE 11, PAID
HOLIDAYS AND SECTION 12-4, HOLIDAYS OCCURRING DURING VACATION
PERIOD.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section Article 11, Paid Holidays, (b), of t he Personnel Policy Manual as set
out in Ordinance No. 11497, is hereby amended to read as f ollows:
ARTICLE 11. PAID HOLIDAYS
Section 11. Paid Holidays.
(b) Fire service personnel assigned to fire suppression duty, Police
personnel assigned to twenty-four hour service divisions, dispatch and patrol
and any personnel assigned to a service di vision which is regularly
scheduled by the Department Director to work on all authorized-
holidays, shall receive holiday pay for authorized holidays and shall work on
holidays as scheduled unless other available leave time has been
authorized. Holiday pay for Poliee per-soan I ff h.E)1-1r-

consist of pay for eight hours.
Section 2• Article 11, Paid Holidays,of the Personnel Pol icy Manual as set out
in Ordinance No. 11497, is further amended by the addition of a subparagraph (d)
which shall read as follows:
(d) Part time employees with benefits will be paid four (4) hours for
the holidays noted in paragraph (a) above. Any hours actually worked on the
holiday shall be compensated in addition to the four (4) hours holiday pay.
Such employees shall receive credit for four (4) hours worked on any holiday
for purposes of computing overtime compensation under Section 8-13.
Section 3. Section 12-4, Holidays occurring during vacation_period, of the
Personnel Policy Manual as set out in Ordinance No. 11497, is hereby amended to
read as follows:
