ORDINANCE NO. 11611
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
CHAPTER 30, SOLID WASTES, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS IT PERTAINS TO SOLID WASTE, TRADE WASTE, AND
VEGETATIVE WASTE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI
AS FOLLOWS: '
Section I. Chapter 30, Solid Wastes, of the Code of the City of Jefferson is
hereby amended by changing Section 30-7 as follows:
Sec. 30-7. Prohibited practices.
A. No person shall place or allow to be placed, any solid waste, other than
paper, on any property owned, occupied, or controlled by him unless such materials
are stored in a tightly enclosed container. The user of the container shall cause the
contents thereof to be emptied and removed from the premises at least once each
week.

in an approved commercial-type incinerator in compliance with all state and
federal regulations.

F. D. No person shall place any solid waste on any public property or on any

transportation equipment, or with solid waste collectors in the lawful performance
of their duties.
