ORDINANCE NO. 11675
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING
THE PAYMENT OF A LUMP SUM AMOUNT FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES AS A
PARTIAL COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT.

' yF WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Jefferson recognizes that annual adjustments
to pay schedules are generally necessary to offset increased cost of living; and
WHEREAS, the financial picture of the City has become less positive during the last s
year; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to mitigate the cost of living impact on the City
budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CI'T'Y OF k
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A lump sum amount of$250, less applicable taxes, shall be paid to
eligible employees as adjustment for fiscal year 1991-92. For purposes of this
ordinance, "eligible employees" shall mean all full time employees who are employed
on November 1, 1991, who are not covered by a work agreement.

Section 2. The payment of the lump sum shall occur on or about November 29,
1991.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its passage and approval.
