" AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
l RELINQUISHING A CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR UTILITY PURPOSES ON A as
PORTION OF HEISINGER ROAD.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON)
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
x WHEREAS, b an easement recorded in Book 285, Page 252, of the Records of the

Cole County, Missouri, a sewer easement was granted to the City of Jefferson, a
Municipal Corporation, to excavate within, install, construct, maintain and repair
structures for the routing and conveyance of sewer in, under and through the lots,
tracts or parcels of land described in Section 1;
Section 1. The Council finds that the following described easement is
±' surplus property of the City and is no longer needed for any public purpose: ` `:',: : .
A strip of land being the northerly 10.0 feet of a 20.0 foot wide utility

s : easement along the southerly property line of a tract of land conveyed to
Richard A. and Mary L. Howerton per deed of record in Book 285, Page 252, '
Cole County Recorder's Office, all being a part of the Northeast Quarter of £H
Section 11, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson,
County of Cole, Missouri. The said 10.0 foot strip of land being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the westerly line of a tract of land conveyed to ,'`rx '�� ,

north of the southwesterly corner thereof; thence North 88 degrees, 05
minutes, GO seconds East, 462.99 feet, more or less, to a point on the

the City does hereby release and abandon whatever interest it has in the
easement.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any
