' BE IT ENAC'T'ED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: f, t Section 1. The Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended by amending Section 35-21 (a)(1) by the addition of item (1.), which shall read as follows: 1. A transmitting or receiving antenna or support structure which does . not exceed the maximum height limit of the district in which it is j Yr n located. "r Section 2. The Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is further amended ?` by amending Chapter 35, The Zoning, Code, by the addition of'5-30 (b) (3), and t= the subsequent sections shall be renumbered. y r: i (3) The height provisions of this chapter shall not apply to an amateur ` radio antenna of seventy (70) feet or less provided that: 3 � rb. ?.y4 1. The antenna be erected to comply with accepted engineering standards. ' 2. The maximum base width of the antenna shall be 5 feet and the 1 antenna shall be no wider than 3 feet at a height of 30 feet nor wider than 18" at its top. The maximum length of the horizontal elements shall not exceed 50 feet. A height variance shall be required for an antenna which does not meet the provisions of this subsection (3) if the antenna exceeds the maximum height limit of the district in which it is located. Section 3. The Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is further amended by amending Section 35-80 (h), (3) f., to read as follows: f. Variances to the height regulations. Building and structures; including such structures as television and radio towers, church spires, belfries, monuments, tanks, water and fire towers, stage towers or scenery lofts, cooling towers, ornamental towers and spires, chimneys, elevator bulk heads, stacks, conveyors and flag poles; may be erected to such height as may be authorized by the Board.
