MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Jefferson are hereby
authorized to execute a lease with Fischer Grain Farms for farming certain
described agricultural property at the Jefferson City Memorial Airport.
Section 2. The lease shall be substantially the same in form and content as

THIS AGRI ULTURAL LEASE EXTENSION AGREEMENT, executed on this a ;

WHEREAS, Lessee wishes to exercise the renewal option contained in the
original Agricultural Lease executed on March 12, 1992;

That the Lessor has this day leased unto the Lessee the following described

1. Lease Period. This lease shall
be effective from November 1, 1991 h throu b

2. Notice of Termination of Agreement Lessee shall inform Lessor of its
intention to extend this lease by August 31, 1992.

3. Rental Amount. The Lessee, in consideration of the leasing of the above
described premises, hereby covenants and agrees with the Lessor to pay the Lessor
as rental for said premises the price of Seventy-Six dollars and Five Cents ($76.05) `
per acre for the 1992 growing season. Should the parties choose to renew this

contract, Lessee shall pay Lessor as rental Seventy-Six Dollars and Ten Cents
y; ($76.10)per acre for the 1993 growing season; Seventy-Six Dollars and Twenty Cents

($76.20) per acre for the 1994 growing season; Seventy-Six Dollars and Thirty Cents ?
n ($76.30) per acre for the 1995 growing season and Seventy-Six Dollars and Forty
Cents ($76.40) per acre for the 1996 growing. In the event of flooding during a
growing season to substantially destroy the crops, the amount to be paid shall be "A

4. Expenses. Lessee shall provide and pay for all items and expenses involved
in planting and harvesting the crops. The City will be under no financial obligation
in producing the crop other than levee assessment to the land.
5. Crops Sown. It is agreed and understood by the Lessee that he will sow only
oats, corn, wheat or other small `
grains and such other crops which maybe authorized

described premises, and that said crops will be harvested on or before the first day

6. Removal of Crops. If maturity of the crops or weather conditions do not allow
the crops to be harvested by the time provided in this lease, or by the time this lease
expires, Lessee shall have until December 31, following the term hereof to remove
said crops.
' 7. Interference with Airport Operations. It is understood and agreed by the

parties hereto that the Lessee will not at an time sow, p cultivate harvest or
do any other work of whatsoever nature on any of the areas specified in said Lease, f{y> .°
f when same shall interfere with any aeronautical activities of the Jefferson City
Memorial Airport. The rights granted by this agreement will not be exercised in such

3. Observance of Law. Lessee agrees that at all times he will observe and obey
any and all ordinances, rules, and regulations concerning same as laid down by the
City through the Director of Transportation.
9. Right to Reclaim Acreage. It is understood that the City of Jefferson has the
right to reclaim any part of the acreage should it be needed for airport purposes and
an appropriate reduction in the rents to be paid will be made, as maybe agreed upon4 �.

,, 10. Subletting/Assignment. The Lessee shall not sublet or assign any portion of the
premises to any other person without the consent of the Lessor in writing having #�

11. Runway Visibility. No corn shall be planted on an lot that interferes with

runway visibility, and such corn that is planted shall be planted at the direction of
the Director of Transportation so as not to interfere with runway visibility or j.
constitute an obstruction on approaches.
` y 12. Operation of Equipment. The Lessee should inform the Airport Supervisor orr
the on-duty tower controller before operating vehicles or equipment on airport
property. No farm machinery or vehicles of any kind are to be left unattended or ,
overnight within seven hundred fifty(750) feet of the centerline of runway 12/30, nor
within the thresholds of runway 12/30 within a strip three thousand (3,000) feet (or :
to the property line) from the end of the runway along the extended centerline and

consideration hereof, does hereby covenant and agree as a covenant running with the
land that in the event facilities are constructed, maintained, or otherwise operatedY;_r;;,U : ,

15. Insurance. Lessee agrees that it will at all times maintain general liability

insurance shall assure the obligation of the Lessee to save the Lessor harmless from ` 3a

`> any and all claims for damages arising on the demised premises or resulting as a �_ k
direct or indirect consequence of the occupation and use of said demised premises.
Current copies of said insurance policy or certificate of insurance shall be furnished
to the Lessor and shall be promptly replaced upon expiration. Lessor shall be named
as an additional insured on the policy.
16. Location of Crops. No crops will be grown within four hundred(400)feet of the
centerline of runway 12/30 (three hundred-fifty (350) feet from the edge of runway
12/30), nor within one hundred (100) feet of any other landing facilities, taxiways or
