Dear Sergeant James:
Please find enclosed a revised form of the proposed lease between the City and the
" State. A number of changes have been made to this based on my understanding of
' what the City thought had been agreed to. These changes can be summarized as
follows:
; . 1. Use of premises is limited to a commercial driver's license examination site.
2. A cancellation clause has been added so that either party may cancel with 60
f r days notice prior to February of 1993 and 30 days thereafter.
3. The hold harmless clause has been changed to put in mirror language g p gunge where
each party is holding the other harmless from the acts caused by the party.
J^H . 4. The language about scope of employment has been deleted.
5. The payment of rent has been changed from arrears to advance, which is more
R standard in a rental situation.

monthly in advance in payments of ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS AND NO CENTS
($100.00) upon prior invoices submitted by Lessor. The lot is located at Hyde Park
Training Center, Jefferson City, Missouri.

2. Term. In the event the Lessee remains in possession of the premises after

this lease to any non-governmental party without the written consent of the Lessor.
