RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION #98-20
WltEREAS, by Resolution //98-20 the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret ("the Borough") appointed Robert Light to serve in as a Hearing Officer in
a Disciplinary Matter involving William Kolibas Jr.; and
WHEREAS, said services required more time than orginally anticipated, thereby
necessitating additional costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that Resolution//98-20 is hereby increased by $1800.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this amendment is made without competitive
bidding in accordance with NJS.A. 4OA: 11-5 et. seq., due to the specialized and
professional nature of the service;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of this action shall be published in The
Home News Tribune on June 19, 1998.
Adopted this 18th day of June, 1998
and certified as a true copy of the
