A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH ROBERT R.
COFFEE ARCHITECTS + ASSOCIATES TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE
AGREEMENT FOR A TERM CONCURRENT WITH THE PROJECT TIMELINE
WHEREAS, on January 21, 2014, the City Council approved an
Agreement with Robert R. Coffee Architects + Associates in a not to exceed
amount of $498,200 to provide architectural and engineering services; and
WHEREAS, the Project timeline and Project scope have changed since the
execution of the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement with Robert R. Coffee Architects + Associates
expired in September 2016; and
WHEREAS, to align the Project timeline with the Agreement termination
date an amendment to the Agreement is necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves to extend the Agreement with
Robert R. Coffee Architects + Associates.
Section 2. That the City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute the
amendment to the Agreement with Robert R. Coffee Architects + Associates,
attached hereto as Exhibit A, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City
Council Resolution.
