ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE PLAT OF BACKUES SUBDIVISION, A SUBDIVISION OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON.
WHEREAS, John Backues and Shelba Backues, owners of the real estate
r: hereinafter described, having submitted to the City Council a plat of said real estate,
being located in Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri, and more particularly
described as follows:
Part of Private Survey No. 2701 in the City of Jefferson,Missouri,
more particularly described as follows:
From the northwest corner of Private Survey No. 2680; thence S
81° 20' W, 1706 feet; thence N 8° 40' W, 117 feet; thence S 81° 20' W,
429.3 feet; thence N 60° W, 330 feet, to the center of a public road
known as Indian Meadow Drive; thence along the center of said Indian
Meadow Drive, N 30° E, 151.00 feet; thence along a curve to the left,
having a radius of 103.33 feet, a distance of 122.49 feet; thence N 37°
55' W, 355.8 feet; thence N 51° 28' W, 150.01 feet; thence leaving the
center of Indian Meadow Drive, N 38° 32' E, 25.0 feet to the easterly
line of said Indian Meadow Drive and the point of beginning for this

description; thence N 51° 28' 00" W, along the easterly line of said
Indian Meadow Drive, 123.59 feet; thence northerly along said easterly
line on a curve to the riight, having a radius of 81.73 feet, an arc
distance of 81.31 feet, the chord of said curve being N 22° 58' 00" W,
77.99 feet; thence N 05° 32' 00" E, along the easterly line of said Indian
Meadow Drive, 34.00 feet to the southwesterly corner of a tract of land
as described in Book 217, Page 934, Cole County Recorder's Office;
thence S 87° 44' 14" E, along the southerly line of said tract, 175.28 feet
to the southeasterly corner thereof; thence S 51° 28' 00" E, 110.16 feet;
thence S 52° 05' 00" W, 174.28 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing in all 0.99 acre.
WHEREAS,it appearing that said plat has been fully and properly signed and
accepted by the owners of said subdivision, known and referred to as Backues
Subdivision, that all taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the requirements
a of Chapter 445, RSMo, entitled "Plats" have been fully complied with by theaowners
of said subdivision, and that in all respects the requirements of the Planning and

' Zoning Commission of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats and
subdivisions have been complied with,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The plat of Backues Subdivision lying,being and situated within
the corporate limits of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the said plat
attached hereto and made a part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and accepted

by the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
' to endorse acceptance of said plat hereon and to certify he
y approval of said plat
under the seal of the City of Jefferson.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the
f date of its passage and approval.
