BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS: .g' {$
Section 1. Ordinance 11610 is amended by amending subpart 16 to read as f
follows:

(16) Add section 2802.1 and re-number F-2801.2 to F-2802.2 to read as follows:
F-2802.1 General: Bulk, processing, or industrial plants, refineries or others % <.
plants and distilleries and all buildings, tanks and equipment used for the storage,
processing,distillation,refining or blending or flammable or combustible liquids shall ` "
be located, constructed and used in accordance with the building code and NFiPA 30
listed in Appendix A and any other applicable law or ordinance of the jurisdiction.
F-2802.2 Storage Tanks: All shop-fabricated flammable and combustible
liquid storage tanks shall bear the label of an approved agency. Bolted and field-
::;,` welded tanks shall comply with this code and the structural and inspection
requirements of the building code listed in Appendix A. The tanks shall conform to
one of the standards listed in Table F-2802.1.
Section 2. Ordinance 11610 is amended by amending subpart 17 to read as
follows:
(17) Delete sections F-2805.1, F-2805.2, F-2805.3 and F-2805.4 and insert the

determines that the installation or operation is no longer conducted or maintained
in a safe manner, he shall have authority to require unsafe tanks to be removed from
'= service.
F-2805.3 Fuel Oil for Heating Purposes: Fuel oil tanks for supplying oil ?`
burning heating equipment and located above ground, inside or outside of the ;
building, shall not have a tank capacity greater than 660 gallons (2.50 m3) for each `G
building served and the location is approved. Tanks located inside buildings shall be
installed in accordance with NFiPA 31 listed in Appendix A.
