CONTRACT FOR PEDESTRIAN ENGINEERING STUDY i
THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into by and between the City of Jefferson
.x City, Missouri, a municipal corporation, hereinafter designated as "City” and the k'
Jefferson City Public School District, hereinafter designated as "School District."

HEREAS, the City and the School District find it appropriate and necessary to
participate in a study of pedestrian patterns at and around schools; and
;. WHEREAS, the City and the School District have agreed to jointly fund an
engineering study of pedestrian patterns,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it agreed as follows:

1. To prepare, or cause to be prepared, studies, surveys, plans, specifications,
and estimates of cost for said pedestrian study.

2. Upon approval from the School District, to let and award the contract for
the pedestrian study in accordance with the established procedures of the City and �
School District.

3. To finance fifty percent of the pedestrian study, to appropriate such funds
as are necessary therefore, and to prepare a complete and accurate breakdown of
the costs of the pedestrian study.
' 4. To retain all pedestrian study records and to make them available for audit
by School District during the pedestrian study stages.
