C. r. INDUSTRIES, INC. FOR THE VON HOFFMANN PRESS INC. SANITARY SEWER \ ° r PROJECT. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, !p; AS FOLLOWS: i Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to ,. execute an agreement with J. C. Industries Inc. for the Von Hoffmann Press Inc. ' Sanitary Sewer Project. The amount expended for the contract shall not exceed $116,000.00 and the initial amount of the contract shall be $107,778.80. Section 2. The City Administrator and Director of Public Works shall be jointly f ' authorized to approve thane orders to the contract provided the total contract h PP g P amount does not exceed $116,000.00, nor change the general scope of the project. . Section 3. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A. Section 4. Coordination with Von Hoffmann Press .; Special Provision SP-9, Coordination with Von Hoffmann Press, is hereby modified by addition of the following: " To minimize impact on the loading dock located near the ro osed manhole at Sta. 7+79.10, this manhole shall be constructed at the beginning of the '= work. The existing pipe shall remain undisturbed until the new line is ready to accept flow. :r ql.. Access to at least two (2) bays of the loading dock must be maintained at all times Monday through Friday. The Contractor shall be responsible for replacing to equal or better condition 'a x any fence that is damaged or removed during construction. The Contractor shall make every effort to locate all underground pipe lines, conduits and structures by contacting owners of underground utilities and by prospecting in advance of the excavation.
