• : THE PAYMENT OF A LUMP SUM AMOUNT FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES AS A

WHEREAS, the Council of-the City of Jefferson recognizes that annual adjustments h
to pay schedules are generally necessary to offset increased cost of living; and
WHEREAS, the financial picture of the City has become less positive during he last
year; and g `'
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to mitigate the cost of living "

fw NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY bF
V�: JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: '

Section 1. A lump sum amount of$200, less applicable taxes, shall be paid to
1r� eligible employees as adjustment for fiscal =
J year 1992-93. For purposes of this
M ordinance, "eligible employees" shall mean all full time employees who are employed
on November 1, 1992, who are not covered by a work agreement.
Sec_tion 2. The payment of the lump sum shall occur on or about November 27,
a 1992.
