AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE
FRANCHISE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND TCI CABLEVISION BY
AMENDING SECTION 5.03.B.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, 5.03.B of the Franchise Agreement entered into between
the City and TCI Cablevision of Missouri, Inc. on February 16, 1988, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
B. Within thirty (30)days of the adoption of rules for use of a Public
Access Channel and a budget for the same Company shall make a
payment of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) to City for
capital expenditures in connection with the use of a Public Access
Channel. On the first anniversary of the grant of this franchise or the
selection of an operator for the Public Access Channel, whichever is
later, Company shall make a second payment of One Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($100,000.00)to City for capital expenditures in connection with

that ie On or about November 1 of each year beginning in
1992,Company shall pay to the City the amount of'fen Thousand
Dollars ($10,000.00) each for years one through seven and Eight
Thousand 'Dollars ($8,000,00) for year eight to be utilized for
equipment maintenance, repair, replacement, and acquisition
including parts, materials and outside labor.
