CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, BY AMENDING DIVISION 2,

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
.k Section 1. The Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended by

the addition of a new Section 2-29 of Division 2 of Article II of Chapter 2 to read as

Sec. 2-29. Citizens' participation. At each and every Council
meeting,two periods shall be allotted for residents of the City to
address the Council. The first time period shall be at the
residents to beginning of the Council agenda for that meeting. The sec and

Section 2. Severaibility. The provisions of this ordinance are severable. If
any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or
circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of this ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision
or application.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in fill force and effect from and after the
date of its passage and approval.
