ORDINANCE ANC NO. 11844
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING A
1972 JOHN DEERE 310 BACKHOE TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING
THE DISPOSAL OF SAID PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI,'AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1., The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, finds that certain
property in the custody of the Finance Department described as follows:
1972 John Deere 319 Backhoe,
is surplus property, and as such represents a burdensome cost for licensing,
storage and maintenance, and that the property is no longer needed for any public
purpose.

Section 2. The Finance Department is hereby authorized to trade item
described in Section 1 for a 1973 International fire truck from the City of
Columbia.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its passage and approval.
