RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION # 97-280
WHEREAS, by Resolution #97-280 the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret (The "Borough") retained Gary Stowell to provide certain legal and
managerial consulting services; and
WHEREAS, certain events have caused the duration and scope of said services to
be extended and expanded; and
WHEREAS, the amount originally anticipated to be expended needs to be increased;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that Resolution #97-280 is hereby increased by $25,000.00, in
addition to any previous amendments;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this amendment is made without competitive
bidding in accordance to NJ. SA 40A:ll-5(1)(a) due to the specialized an
professional nature of the service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the notice of this action shall be published in
The Home News Tribune on June 19, 1998
Adopted this 18th day of June, 1998
and certified as a true copy of the original
on June 19, 1998.
