AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING AND
AMENDING CHAPTER 19,MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC,OF THE CODE OF
f" THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, TO AMEND ARTICLE IV, VEHICLE
OPERATION GENERALLY, BY CREATING A NEW SECTION 19-128
PROHIBITING DRIVING WITHOUT A VALID OPERATOR'S LICENSE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 19, of the Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,is hereby
amended by amending Article IV by creation of a new Section 19-128 which shall
read as follows:
See. 19.128. Driving without a valid operator's license. No
person shall operate a motor vehicle upon the highways of this
city who has not fully complied with the provisions of Section
' 302.020, Revised Statutes of 1Vlissouri, as it pertains to operation
} of a motor vehicle without a proper license.
Section 2. Penalty. The penalty for a violation of Section 19-128 shall be as
provided for in Section 19-10.
Section 3. Severability. The provisions of this ordinance are severable. If
any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or
ti circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
�x= applications of this ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision
or application.

Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the

date of its passage and approval.
