AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELINQUISHING
CERTAIN SANITARY SEWER EASEMENTS ON PROPERTY LOCATED IN
' GORDON FOREST ESTATES.

WHEREAS,EREAS b easements recorded in Book 282, Page 269 and Book 257, Page 605,
Cole County Recorder of Deeds Office, sanitary sewer easements were granted to the
City of Jefferson, a Municipal Corporation, to excavate within, install, construct,
maintain and repair structures for the routing and conveyance of sewer water in,
<*� under and through the lot, tracts or parcels of land described in Section 1; and
WHEREAS,the Council of the City of Jefferson has determined that these easements
are no longer necessary for public use;
' BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI

AS FOLLOWS:

{ Section 1. The Council finds that the following described easements are
surplus property of the City and are no longer needed for any public purpose:
r A portion of sanitary sewer easements located in Section 9, Township 44
North, Range 12 West, City of Jefferson, County of Cole, State of Missouri,

recorded on Book 282, Page 269 and Book 257, Page 605 of the Cole County
Recorder's Office, more particularly described as follows:
Those parts of existing easements "A" and "B" labeled T.B.A. and indicated to
be abandoned by General Notes 3 and 4 as per plat of Gordon Forest Estates,
Section I as recorded on Plat Book 11, Page 493 of the Cole County Recorder's
Office.
Section 2. The easements described in Section 1 are hereby relinquished, and
the City does hereby release and abandon whatever interest it has in the easements.
