ORDINANCE NO. 1198,
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING,
AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, BY REZONING A 14.94 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED NORTHEAST OF THE
END OF VETERANS LANE AND IS PART OF LOT 2 OF CHRISTY COMMERCIAL
PLAZA FROM RS-2, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, TO C-2, GENERAL
COMMERCIAL.
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN THE ZONING
CODE RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described real estate is rezoned from RS-2, Single
Family Residential, to C-2, General Commercial:
A 14.94 acre parcel located northeast of the end of Veterans Lane,
described as:
Part of Lot 2 of Christy Commercial Plaza in the City of Jefferson, Cole
County, Missouri, as per plat of record in Plat Book 11, Page 241 , Cole
County Recorder's Office, more particularly described as follows:

r Beginning at the northeasterly corner of said Lot 2;thence S 03°43' 47"W,
along the easterly line of said Lot 2, 1000.41 feet to the southeasterly
corner thereof;thence N 860 38' 32" W, along the southerly line of said Lot
2, 400.00 feet; thence N 270 12' 50" W, 873.00 feet to a point on the
northerly line of said Lot 2; thence N 470 19' 00" E, along the northerly line
of said Lot 2, 345.0 feet; thence S 860 40' 45" E, along the northerly line of
said Lot 2, 611.04 feet to the point of beginning, containing in all, 14.94
acres, from RS-2, Single Family Residential, to C-2, General Commercial.
