ORDINANCE NO. 11983
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,CHANGING,AMENDING,
AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP 'OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF
a JEFFERSON, BY REZONING A 2.28 ACRE TRACT ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
' RIVERSIDE DRIVE ADJACENT TO ELLIS PORTER PARK FROM RS-4, SINGLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, TO PUD, PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN THE ZONING
CODE RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described real estate is rezoned from RS-4, Single
Family Residential, to PUD, Planned Unit Development:
A 2.28 acre tract on the north side of Riverside Drive adjacent to Ellis
Porter Park, described as:
Part of the southwest fractional quarter of Section 9, Township 44
North, Range 11 West, and more particularly described as follows:
From a point which is the Intersection of the centerline of Pierce
Street and the centerline of Riverside Drive (formerly River Lane),
• which point Is 459.5 feet easterly from the intersection of said
centerline of Riverside Drive (formerly River Lane) with the west line
of Section 16, Township 144, Range 11 West, measured along said
centerline; thence easterly along said centerline, 287.6 feet; thence
perpendicular to the centerline of Riverside Drive (formerly River
Lane), northerly 25 feet; thence N 160 32' E (magnetic) along the
westerly line of the tract conveyed to Al Schaefer and wife, by
Quitclaim Deed of record In Book 128, Page 182, Cole County
Recorder's Office, 200 feet, more or less, to the south line of said
Section 9 and the beginning g g point of this description; thence
continuing N 160 32' E, 630.1 feet to the southerly line of the Missouri
Pacific Railroad right-of-way;thence northwesterly along said right-of-
way line, 159.06 feet; thence southerly 665.86 feet, more or less, to the
` south line of said Section 9; thence easterly along the section line 160
feet, more or less, to the beginning point of this description, from RS-
