ORDINANCE NO. 11$5---
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,MAINTAINING THE LEVY
OF A GROSS RECEIPTS UTILITY TAX FOR THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AT ITS CURRENT RATE.
WHEREAS,The City of Jefferson, Missouri, presently has in place a gross receipts
tax; and
WHEREAS,The Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, provides that Council shall
pass an Ordinance every year establishing the Gross Receipts Utility Tax rate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
S,@cti n 1. The gross receipts tax on utilities existing at the following rates shall
continue in full force and effect:
5.65% gas, steam, electricity
7.00% telephone and telecommunication

jign 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its
passage.
