AAC Members Present:Charles Jones,Mike Weiss,Rick Fereday,Mark Thorian
Staff.Richard M.Stein,AAE(Airport Manager);Anette Spickard(City Manager)
Others available electronically: Wayne Reiter (T O Engineers), unknown others on the
telephone due to computer issues.
Others present: Jeff Marker,Jennifer Schildren(ITD-Aeronautics);Mark Sweeney,John
Blakely(Idaho Aeronautics Board);Rick Rezabeck,Russ Stromberg(Hangar Owners).
Chairman Jones called the meeting to order at 12:15 p.m.
Public comment: Mr. Shoemaker introduced himself and stated his interest in building
hangars.
Approval of Minutes from August 5, 2021, meeting (Action item): No corrections.
Member Fereday motioned;Member Weiss seconded. Approved 3-0.
Presentation by Idaho Dept.of Transportation—Aeronautics: Presentation by Idaho
Dept.of Transportation—Aeronautics
Mr.Stromberg presented his letter to the Valley County Commissioners and reiterated the
importance of land zoning to protect he airport.
Ms.Schildren request Staff to arrange a meeting with Valley County Commissioners to
present information on,and request passing a bill,Compatible Airport Land Use.
AIP 28—Airport Master Plan(Information Item):Wayne Reiter of T O Engineers
provided an update of the Airport Master Plan. The financial chapter is being created,
and the ALP drawings are also underway.
AIP 30 - East-West Taxiway Update (Information Item): Wayne provided an update
on the project.
Lori MacNichol(Gregorv-Berge)Hangar Qnformation Item): Ground lease has been
created and will go to CC tonight.
Other Hangars: Airport Staff has contacted the next 2 names on the Hangar Waiting
List and discussed the possibility of leasing ground space north of the proposed Gregory-
Berge hangar. Staff is awaiting a decision.
Three-month calendar review: A review of the airport calendar was provided:

Items for Future Committee Agendas: Chairman Jones requested an early draft and
description of the Airport Layout Plan from the Airport Master Plan.
