ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH CYRIL M.
HENDRICKS FOR LEGAL SERVICES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a contract with Cyril M. Hendricks for legal
services for the sum of $1 ,000.
Section 2. The contract shall be substantially the same in form
and content as that contract attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after the date of its passage and approval. p

AGREEMENT FOR LEGAL SERVICES

This Agreement is entered into this day of 1983
by and between the City of Jefferson, Missouri, her ter referred
to as "City", and Cyril M. Hendricks hereinafter referred to as
"Attorney".
Attorney agrees to perform legal services for the City as assigned by
the Citys Counselor. City will pay for these services at the rate of
$50.00 per hour, with a minimum of five (5) hours per month. City
will reimburse Attorney for any necessary travel and long distance
telephone calls needed to perform these services. The total services
provided by Attorney shall not exceed $1,000 without the prior written
consent of the City. Attorney shall bill the City each month, listing
the time .spent on each project.
This Agreement shall be in effect through October 31, 1983.
