ORDINANCE NO. ,
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING REAL
PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS, AUTHORIZING ITS SALE AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CLERK TO EXECUTE DEEDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council finds that the following real prop-
erty is surplus property of the City, and as such represents a
burdensome cost, and that the property is no longer needed for any
public purpose:
"All
All that part of Inlot 301 and the westerly 74 feet 42 inches of
Inlot 302 in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, that lies south of
the Center of Weir's Creek.
EXCEPT: a tract of land along the southern most portion of
Inlot 301 and a part of Inlot 302, City of Jefferson, County of
Cole, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows:
Alk Beginning at a point on the south line of said Inlot 302, said
point being 74 feet 41 inches to the east of the southwesterly
corner thereof; thence northerly parallel with the easterly line
of said Inlot 302, a distance of 6.25 feet; thence in a westerly
direction parallel with the south line of said Inlots 302 and 301
to a point, said point being 15.0 feet to the east of the
westerly line of said Inlot 301 ; thence northerly, parallel with
said westerly line to the centerline of Weir's Creek; thence
along said centerline in a westerly direction to the west line of
said Inlot 301 ; thence southerly along said west line to the
southwesterly corner of said Inlot 301 ; thence easterly along the
south line of said Inlots 301 and 302 to the point of beginning.

Six (6) feet off the southerly part of inlots numbered four
hundred and twenty-nine (429) four hundred and thirty (430)
and four hundred and thirty-one (431) in the City of Jefferson,
County of Cole, State of Missouri, and more particularly
described as follows to wit: Beginning at the southeasterly
corner of Inlot 431 , which said point is the northeasterly corner
of the public alley, thence northerly along Walnut Street, six
(6) . feet, thence westerly, parallel with said public alley three
hundred and thirteen (313) feet one and one half (1-21) inches to
the westerly line of said Inlot 429, thence southerly along the
westerly line of said Inlot 429, six (6) feet to the northerly
line of the public alley, thence easterly along said public alley
and the southerly line of Inlots 429-430 & 431 , three hundred
and thirteen (313) feet one and one half (1-21) inches to the
place of beginning.

The most easterly part of Inlot 300, City of Jefferson, County of
Cole, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of said Inlot 300; thence
westerly along the north line of said Inlot 300, 27 ft. 412
inches; thence southerly, parallel with the east line of said
Inlot 300, 198 ft. 9 inches to the south line of said Inlot 300;
thence easterly along said south line, 27 ft. 4z inches to the
east line of said Inlot 300; thence northerly along said east
line, 198 ft. 9 inches to the point of beginning.
Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
sell the property to the Housing Authority for the sum of $1 .00.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
executeee�ds relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tracts of
ground described in Section 1. Said deeds shall be substantially the
same in form and content as the deeds attached hereto as Exhibits A,
B and C.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
