ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING CHAPTER 2
OF THE CITY CODE BY ENACTING ONE NEW SECTION PERTAINING TO APPOINTMENT
OF MEMBERS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 2 of the Jefferson City Code is hereby amended
by enacting one new section pertaining to appointment of members of
boards and commissions, to be known as Section 2-186, which shall read
as follows :
Section 2-186. No person shall be appointed to the same board
or commission for more than 2 complete consecutive terms, except
that a person appointed to fill a vacancy in an unexpired term
may serve the remainder of the unexpired term and may also be
appointed to two additional full terms .
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after passage and approval.
