ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING
AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY AMENDING
CHAPTER 36, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY REZONING
PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF ELLIS BOULEVARD AND
NEW MISSOURI ROUTE B, FROM RS-2 (SINGLE FAMILY) TO C-1 (NEIGHBORHOOD
COMMERCIAL) .
WHEREAS IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 36
RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described real estate be rezoned
from RS-2 (single family) to C-1 (neighborhood commercial) , to-
wit:
Part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section
24 , Township 44 N, Range 12 W, in the City of Jefferson, Cole
County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
From the northwest corner of the Southwest quarter of the North-
east quarter of Section 24; -thence N 84° 51 ' east along the quarter
quarter Section line, 547.8 feet; thence N 4 ° 33 ' west to
the southeasterly right-of-way line of Supplementary State
Highway Route "B" ; thence southwesterly along said right-of-
way line to the south line of the Northwest quarter of the
Northeast quarter of said Section 24; thence easterly along
the quarter quarter Section line to the beginning point of
this description.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
