Re: Back River Fishing Pier
Purpose: To make Back River area more accessible to Kayakers
Project: Involves removing 81 lin. Ft. (405 sq. ft.) of handicapped access and replacing it with 57 lin. Ft. (285 sq. ft.) of handicap access.
Costs: app. $17,500 (w/pine – not garapa).
Result: Loss of 1 parking space, restriping of entry to last house, and restriping of new handicap area.
Timeline: Start 2 weeks after receipt of DNR LOP. 2 weeks of destruction and construction.
