ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE PLAT OF CHASE WOODS ADDITION, A SUBDIVISION OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS HEREIN DESCRIBED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . Roy W. and Hildegard K. Voiles , owners of the
real estate hereinafter described and situated in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, have submitted to the Council a plat of said
real estate, being located in Jefferson City, County of Cole,
Missouri, and more particularly described as follows:
Part of Private Survey No. 2701 , in Township 44 North, Range
11 West, and all of Lot Nos . 15, 16, and 17, in Block No. 2 , of
Haaf Addition, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, said Addition
being a part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter
® and a part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 15, Township 44 North, Range 11 West, per plat of record
in Plat Book 5, at Pages 18 and 19, Cole County Recorder' s
Office, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot 15 of Block No. 2,
of said Haaf Addition; thence N 350 56' 27" W, along the
southwesterly line of said Lot 15 , 442. 79 feet to the
southeasterly line of Haaf Drive; thence N 540 15' 32" E, along
the southeasterly line of said Haaf Drive, 91 .0 feet; thence
northerly, along the southeasterly line of said Haaf Drive, on a
curve to the left, having a radius of 50.0 feet, a distance of
85 .32 feet to the northwest corner of Lot 17 , of Block No. 2, of
said Haaf Addition; thence N 460 29' 19" E, along the northerly
line of said Lot 17 , 228. 35 feet to the east line of Block No. 2
of said Haaf Addition; thence N 10 11 ' 22" W. along said east
line, 43.59 feet to the southerly line of the Missouri Pacific
Railroad right-of-way; thence southerly and easterly along the
southerly line of said right-of-way on the following courses and
distances , S 680 25 ' 15" E, 36. 12 feet ; thence S 23° 25 ' 15" E,
141 .42 feet ; thence S 680 25 ' 15" E, 101 .45 feet; thence on a
spiral curve to the left , having a chord bearing and distance of
S 680 56' 14" E, 103.66 feet ; thence N 650 52 ' 06" E, 145.02
feet; thence on a curve to the left having a radius of 1968. 56
feet , a distance of 57 .61 feet to the northwest corner of a tract
of land described in Book 63 , page 166, Cole County Recorder' s
Office; thence S 50 51 ' 03" E, along the west line of said
tract , 749.02 feet ; thence S 56° 41 ' 02" W, 620.58 feet to the
east line of a tract described in Book 47 , page 340 , Cole County
Recorder' s Office; thence N 10 11 ' 22" W, along the east line of
said tract, 573.83 feet to the point of beginning. Containing
12.61 acres . Bearings are magnetic.
SECTION 2. It appears that said plat has been duly and
properly signed and accepted by the owners of said subdivision
known and referred to as Chase Woods Addition, that all taxes
have been paid, and that in all respects the requirements of
Chapter 445, Revised Statutes of Missouri, and amendments
thereto, entitled, "Plats" , have been fully complied with by the
aforesaid owners of said subdivision, and that in all respects
the requirements of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats and subdivisions ,
have been complied with.
SECTION 3. The plat of Chase Woods Addition, lying,
being and situated within the corporate limits of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the said plat hereto attached
and made part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and accepted
by the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and the
Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to endorse
acceptance of said plat thereon and to certify to the approval of
said plat under the seal of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
