There were no changes.

Changes: None
Item 4: Review request to remove trees for a parking lot expansion project at the Hillsborough
Police Substation at 501 Rainey Drive
Ms. Trueblood reviewed the request. There was brief discussion that the idea is to condense the
parking to keep it as small as possible rather than creating tree islands. Chief Hampton added that right
now drivers get their vehicles stuck in the mud when there isn’t enough parking. There is a desire to use
the community space at that substation more and the lack of parking is holding back that extended use.
Motion: Ms. Harris moved to approve the Police Department request to remove trees for the
new parking area at the substation.
Second: Ms. Dannehower seconded.
Vote: Unanimous
Changes: None
Item 5: Updates/Ongoing Business:
May Last Fridays Planning: English Ivy, Karen MacAulay – Ms. MacAulay
announced she had a family event that prevented her from attending
and made arrangements for someone else to get materials from her
house.
