BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to relinquish to the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission all rights which the City may have to property located along proposed Highway 179 from the vicinity of Industrial Boulevard to the vicinity of Highway 50. The property is more specifically described in the Quit-Claim Deed attached hereto as Exhibit A. Section 2. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Quit-Claim Deed relinquishing all of the City's interest in the ground described in Section 1. The deed shall be substantially the same in form and content as the deed attached hereto as Exhibit A. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its //passdage and approval.
