ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE STATE OF
MISSOURI FOR THE PLACEMENT OF A BUS SHELTER ON STATE PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a contract with the State of Missouri for the
placement of a bus shelter on state property.
Section 2. The contract shall be substantially the same in
form and content as that contract attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

LICENSE AGREEMENT
This license made this ljl;14_1 day of !�ulC_d�_c� 198 ,
between the State of Missouri, represented by the Office of
Administration, Division of Design and Construction (hereinafter
"Licensor" ) ,. and the City of Jefferson, a municipal corporation
in Cole County, Missouri (hereinafter "Licensee" ) .
In consideration of the mutual promises herein contained,
Licensor and Licensee agree as follows :
SECTION ONE
GRANT OF LICENSE; DESCRIPTION OF PREMISES
Licensor hereby grants to Licensee a license to enter upon and
occupy, subject to the terms and conditions hereof, Licensor's
Real Property located on the south side of West McCarty Street
and approximately twenty-six (26) feet from the intersection of
West McCarty Street and Mulberry Street.
SECTION TWO
PURPOSE OF LICENSE
Licensee, its agents and employees , may enter upon the Real
Estate for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and repairing a
bus shelter and incidental purposes related thereto.
SECTION THREE
TERM OF LICENSE
The license granted by the Licensor to Licensee shall commence
with the execution of this license and shall terminate upon
written notice by either party specifying the date of
termination, such notice to be given not less than 30 days prior
to the date therein specified.
SECTION FOUR
DAMAGE TO REAL ESTATE
Licensee agrees that it will repair all damage caused by
Licensee, its agents or employees, to Licensor's Real Estate.
SECTION FIVE
INSURANCE
Licensee agrees to maintain liability insurance for personal
injuries or property damage which may occur on this Real Estate.
The insurance shall be in the minimum amounts of $100, 000 per
individual and $800, 000 per occurrence, shall list Licensee as

the Insured, and shall list the Licensor as an Additional Insured
for coverage of the Real Estate which is the subject of this
License.
• SECTION SIX
LICENSEE HAS NO INTEREST OR ESTATE
Licensee agrees that it does not and shall not claim at any time
any interest or estate of any kind or extent whatsoever in the
premises, by virtue of this license or its occupancy or use
hereunder.
SECTION SEVEN
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This License Agreement embodies the entire understanding of the
parties and there are no further or other agreements or
understandings, written or oral, in effect between the parties,
relating to the subject matter hereof. This License Agreement may
be amended or modified only by a writing signed by both parties.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereunto have executed this
License Agreement the day and year first above written.
