ADOPTING THE CARTE RET BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP, INC.
2021 ANNUAL SID II BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Carteret Business Partnership, Inc. (the "CB)'"), the district
management corporation for the Borough of Carteret ("Borough") Special Improvement
District ( "SID "), has submitted their proposed SID lI Budget for the 2021 Calendar Year
("SID II Budget ") to the Governing Body for its approval and ultimate adoption
according to law; and
WHEREAS, on January 5, 2021, the Governing Body adopted Resolution #21 -9,
Introducing and Approving the submitted SID II Budget and scheduling the same for a
Public Hearing on February 4, 2021, all in accordance with the applicable law; and
WHEREAS, as advertised, the Governing Body held a Public Hearing on the SID II
Budget on this date, with the majority of the full membership of the Governing Body
having determined that the said SID II Budget be read by title, hereby declaring that the
following required conditions therefore having been met as follows:
1. At least one week prior to the date of the Public Hearing, this February
4, 2021, a complete copy of the approved budget, as advertised, was
posted in a public place where public notices are customarily posted in
the principal municipal building of the Borough; and
2. A complete copy of the SID II Budget was made available to any
person who requested the same; and
WHEREAS, the Public Hearing on the SID II Budget was opened to the public, giving
all persons having an interest therein the opportunity to present any objections with
regard to the same, and no one presented any objections thereto, after which the hearing
was closed; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body wishes to hereby Adopt the said SID II Budget as
presented by the CBP, without any amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
1. That the above referenced 2021 SID II Budget is hereby Adopted
as presented by the CBP without any amendment thereto.
2. That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Director of the
Carteret Business Partnership.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 5, 2021.
