AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN INTERCITY COOPERATIVE
AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING AND LEGAL SERVICES, AND AUTHORIZING A
BUDGET ADJUSTMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an Intercity Cooperative Agreement for
consulting services and legal services with any municipality
desiring to share the costs and services of a lead attorney and
expert witnesses in the Union Electric Rate Increase case.
Section 2. The Intercity Cooperative Agreement shall be
substantially the same in form and content as that agreement
attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. The Revenue Budget of the General Fund for the
fiscal year 1983-1984 is hereby amended by increasing estimated
revenues by $40, 500, Account No. 10-00-399I, UE Rate Case
Contracts .
® Section 4 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
