AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN
FIRE HOSE TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI FIRE AND RESCUE
TRAINING INSTITUTE FOR THE TRAINING OF FIREMEN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI ,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby declares 2, 000 feet of 2�
inch fire hose to be surplus property.
Section 2. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to execute a contract with the University of Missouri Fire and Rescue
Training Institute for the training of firemen in exchange for the
surplus fire hose.
Section 3 . The contract shall be substantially the same in form
and content as that contract attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 4 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.

AGREEMENT
Thisegreement is made and entered into this 30th day of May
19 , by and between the City of Jefferson, Missouri (City) and
the University of Missouri Fire and Rescue Training Institute ( Insti-
tute) .
1. The City will give the Institute 2, 000 feet of 2' inch fire
hose, which has been declared surplus by the City, and which has a
value of approximately $1, 000 .
2. The fire hose will be used in training firefighters in the
art of suppressing fire and other emergencies as deemed appropriate
by the Director of the Institute.
3 . The Institute will schedule and conduct a six ( 6 ) hour training
class on handling LP Emergencies for the City's Fire Department at
a time and location suitable to the City, and at no cost to the City.
