AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO A
LEASE ON CERTAIN PROPERTY AT THE JEFFERSON CITY MEMORIAL AIRPORT
LEASED TO JEFFERSON CITY FLYING SERVICE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an amendment to a lease (authorized by
Ordinance No. 9285) with Jefferson City Flying Service.
Section 2. The amendment shall be substantially the same in
form and content as that amendment attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

AMENDMENT TO JEFFERSON CITY FLYING SERVICE LEASE
This amendment amends the lease entered into on September 1 ,
1977 between the City of Jefferson, Missouri, a municipal
corporation, and Jefferson City Flying Service.
Section 1. Paragraph 29 is hereby added to the lease to
read as follows:
29. AUTOMOBILE RENTAL. The City hereby grants to Tenant,
on a month to month basis , subject to the terms and conditions
hereinafter stated, the right to administer an automobile leasing
business for Carmichael Leasing, Inc.
a. Tenant agrees to pay to the City for the use of the
permit granted to it hereunder, an amount equal to five per cent
( 5%) of the gross receipts , whether by cash or credit, for all
vehicles leased.
b. Payment shall be made to the City of Jefferson, on or
before the 15th day of each month.
C. Tenant shall have the right to reasonable and adequate
parking space at a location designated by City and reasonably
convenient to the terminal building at the airport .
d. Rental automobiles made available hereunder shall be
maintained in good operative order, free from known mechanical
defects , and in clean, neat and attractive condition, inside and
out.
e. Tenant agrees that it shall cause Carmichael Leasing,
Inc. to obtain and maintain continuously in effect at all times
general liability insurance per paragraph 11 of the lease entered
into on September 1, 1977.
Section 2. It is agreed between the parties that all
provisions of the lease entered into between the parties on
September 1, 1977, shall remain in full force and effect with the
exception of the changes hereinbefore set forth.
