ORDINANCE NO. 10 A
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE PLAT OF COLONIAL HILLS ESTATES SUBDIVISION, A
SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AS HEREIN
DESCRIBED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI ,
AS FOLLOWS.
SECTION 1 . Kenneth W. and , Juanita L. Kauffman, owners of
the real estate hereinafter described and situated in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri , have submitted to the Council a plat of said
real estate , being located in Jefferson City, County of Cole,
Missouri, and more particularly described as follows :
A part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and
a part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter ,
all in Section 14 , Township 44 North, Range 12 West , in the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, and more particularly described
as follows: Starting at the Southeast corner of the
Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section
14 ; thence N 86° 10 ' W, along the Section Line , 775 . 44
feet ; thence N 1° 13 ' E , 474 . 3 feet ; thence N 89° 31 ' E,
180.02 feet ; thence N 10 13 ' E, 144. 94 feet ; thence S 890
04 ' E, 401 . 38 feet ; thence N 00 56 ' E , 33 . 36 feet ; thence
S 890 04 ' E, 190 feet to the East Line of the Southeast
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 14 ; thence
with same S 0° 56 ' W, 620. 3 feet ; thence S 88° 01 ' E, 248
feet , more or less , to the westerly line of Vieth Drive ;
thence with same S 00 56 ' W, 76 feet , to the south line of
the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said
Section 14 ; thence with same N 88° 01 ' W, 248 feet to the
point of beginning. Containing 11 . 38 acres . Bearings are
magnetic with a variation of North 5 Degrees East .
SECTION 2 . It appears that said plat has been duly and
properly signed and accepted by the owners of said subdivision
known and referred to as Colonial Hills Estates Subdivision, that
all taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the
requirements of Chapter 445 , Revised Statutes of Missouri , and
amendments thereto, entitled , "Plats" , have been fully complied
with by the aforesaid owners of said subdivision, and that in all
respects the requirements of the Planning and Zoning Commission
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri , relating to plats and
subdivisions , have been complied with.
SECTION 3. The plat of Colonial Hills Estates Subdivision,
lying, being and situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the said plat hereto attached
and made part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and accepted
by the City Council of the City of Jefferson, and the Mayor and
the City Clerk are authorized and directed to endorse acceptance
of said plat thereon and to certify to the approval of said plat
under the seal of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 4. This ' ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of passage and approval.
