AN ORDINANCE RELINQUISHING A CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR UTILITY AND
DRAINAGE CONTROL PURPOSES OVER LAND LOCATED IN NEUTZLER'S EARLY
AMERICAN SUBDIVISION, SECTION 1, IN JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI .
WHEREAS, by an easement dated August 11, 1978, and recorded
in Book 10, Page 40, of the Records of Cole County, Missouri, a
utility and drainage control easement was granted to the City of
Jefferson, a Municipal Corporation, to excavate within, install,
construct, maintain and repair structures for the routing and
conveyance of utilities in, under and through the lots, tracts or
parcels of land described in Section 1:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council finds that the following described
easement is surplus property of the City and is no longer needed
for any public purpose:
Part of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 of Neutzler's Early American
Subdivision, Section 1 as per plat of record in Plat Book
10, Page 40, Cole County Recorder 's Office, more
Am particularly described as follows :

From the Northwest corner of Lot 4 of said subdivision;
thence S040 28 ' 13"E, 20.00 feet to the point of beginning;
thence continuing SO4° 28 ' 13"E, 24 .01 feet; thence S800 57 '
49"E, 92 .44 feet; thence N89° 38 ' 41"E, 200.64 feet; thence
S040 28 ' 13"E, 33 .67 feet; thence S800 57 ' 49"E, 20. 57 feet;
thence N040 28 ' 13"W, 98 .48 feet; thence S85° 31 ' 47"W,
310 .00 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2 . The easement described in Section l is hereby
relinquished, and the City does hereby release and abandon
whatever interest it has in the easement .
Section 3 . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute any necessary legal document relinquishing all of the
City's interest in the tract of ground described in Section 1.
Section 4 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after passage and approval .
