AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, LEVYING AND ASSESSING A
SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST THE LOTS OR TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING AND ABUTTING
ON FOREST DRIVE IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVE4ENT OF
SAID ROADWAY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost
price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this Ordinance, against
the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting on Forest Drive
in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of said roadway,
the sum of $3,971.25 as the property owner's portion of the total costs
for the improvement of 1,059.0 front feet of said roadway.
Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of roadway,
there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $3.75 per linear foot for
curb and gutter replacement and $9.00 per square yard for driveway
replacement as a special tax against the aggregate lots or tracts of land
fronting or abutting on said roadway.
Section 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the
description of each lot or 'ece of ground fronting or abutting on each
side of said roadway and the inear feet of curb and gutter replacement
and square yards of drivewa replacement of each owner or owners and
contained in the lots or tracts of land so owned and abutting said roadway
and the cost price per linear foot and square yard for said improvement
and the amount hereby levied and assessed as special tax for said
improvement against each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said
roadway is listed as follows:

Dale A. Roark and Marsha A. Roark, husband and wife, owners of property
described as follows:
Part of Lot Nos. 19 and 20, Block No. 2, of The Meadows, in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, per plat of record in Plat Book 4, page 38, Cole
County Recorder's Office, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of Lot No. 19, in Block No. 2 of
said subdivision; thence southerly along the easterly line of said lot to
the southerly line of Lot Nos. 19 and 20, to a point that is 15.0 feet
westerly of the southeasterly corner of Lot No. 20; thence on a direct
line in a northeasterly direction, 163.0 feet, more or less, to a point on
the northerly line of Lot No. 19; thence easterly along the northerly line
of said lot, 39.0 feet, to the point of beginning.
Assessment: 80 feet @ $3.75 per foot = $300.00

Lewis A. Hite and Janice E. Hite, husband and wife, owners of property
described as follows:
Part of Lot Nos. 19 and 20, in Block No. 2, of The Meadows, a subdivision
of part of the south half of Section 35, Township 45, Range 12, in the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, per plat of record in Plat Book 4, page 38,
Cole County Recorder's Office; said part of Lot Nos. 19 and 20, being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of Lot No. 20, in Block No. 2, of
said subdivision; thence easterly along the northerly line of Lot Nos. 20
and 19, for a distance of 50 feet; thence on a direct line in a
southeasterly direction, 163 feet, more or less, to a point on the
southerly line of said Lot No. 20, said point being 15 feet westerly of
the southeasterly corner of said Lot No. 20; thence westerly along the
southerly line of said lot, 80 feet, to the southwesterly corner thereof;
thence north 131.75 feet, to the point of beginning.
Assessment: 80 feet @ $3.75 per foot = $300.00

Assessment: 76 feet @ $3.75 per foot = $285.00
Eugene G. Bushmann and Janice L. Bushmann, husband and wife, owners of
property described as follows:
All of Lot No. 4 and the easterly nine feet of Lot No. 5, all in Block No.
3, The Meadows, a subdivision of the south half of Section 35, Township
45, Range 12, Cole County, Missouri, as per plat of record in Plat Book
No. 4, page 38, in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cole County,
Missouri.
Assessment: 63.5 feet @ $3.75 per foot = $238.13

and agree to pay.

point is 25 feet westerly from the southeasterly corner of said Lot No.
14; thence westerly along the southerly line thereof, a distance of 35
feet, to the southwesterly corner of said lot; thence northerly along and
with the westerly line of said lot, to the northwesterly corner thereof;
thence easterly along the said northerly line, 35 feet; thence southerly

Assessment: 100.6 feet @ $3.75 per foot = $377.25

Cole County Recorder's Office, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner thereof; thence westerly along the
southerly line of said Lot No. 14, 25 feet; thence northerly parallel with
the easterly line of said lot, to the northerly line thereof; thence
easterly along the northerly line of said lot, 25 feet, to the
northeasterly corner thereof; thence southerly along the easterly line of
said lot, to the point of beginning.
Also, Lot Nos. 15 and 16, in Block No. 3, of The Meadows, in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, per plat of record in Plat book 4, page 38, Cole
County Recorder's Office.

Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor of the Contracter, J. C. Industries, Inc.,
Jefferson City, Missouri, for the within-mentioned work in accordance with
the ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind
of work in accordance with the Ordinance of said City in regard to said
work.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its passage and approval.
