ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE PLAT OF SOUTHGATE SUBDIVISION, A SUBDIVISION OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AS HEREIN DESCRIBED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI ,
AS FOLLOWS.
SECTION 1 . Sheldon Gentry, Inc . , R. Sheldon Gentry,
President, and W. Gerald Gentry, Secretary, owners of the real
estate hereinafter described and situated in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri , have submitted to the Council a plat of said
real estate, being located in Jefferson City, County of Cole,
Missouri, and more particularly described as follows:
A parcel of land located in part of the Southwest Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter and part of the East Half of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 13 , Township 44 North, Range 12 West , all of
Lot No . 23 of Swift and Thompson Subdivision as per plat of
record in Plat Book 1 , Page 9 , Cole County Recorder ' s Office ,
said Lot No . 23 being situated in the East Half of the Northwest
Quarter of .said Section 13 , and a part of Fair Acres Addition as
per plat of record in Plat Book 2 , Page 28, Cole County
Recorder ' s Office , that part of said Fair Acres Addition being
all of Lot Nos . 21 thru 29 inclusive in Block No. 4 and part of
Lot Nos. 19 , 20 , and 30, in said Block 4 . All of Lot Nos . 1 thru
12 inclusive , in Block No. 5 . All of Lot Nos . 1 thru 17
inclusive, Lot A, Fair Acres Park, and a 30 foot drive extending
from Fair Acres Park to Rogers Street as shown on plat of record
in Plat Book 2 , Page 28, Cole County Recorder ' s Office , all in
Block No. 6. All of Lot Nos. 1 thru 28 inclusive , all of Lots A
thru G inclusive, part of Lots H thru 0 inclusive , in Block No.
7. Part of vacated Fair Acres Drive and a part of vacated Rogers
Street . All in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole , Missouri,
being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the
southeasterly corner of aforesaid Fair Acres Addition; thence S
840 14 ' 08" W, along the southerly line of said Fair Acres
Addition, 2029. 29 feet to the southwest corner of said Fair Acres
Addition; thence N 05° 35 ' 33" W, along the westerly line of
Fair Acres Addition 1003 . 55 feet to a point on the southerly line
of Lot 22 of aforesaid Swift and Thompson Subdivision; thence N
84° 13 ' 01" E , along said southerly line 249. 24 feet to the
southwesterly corner of Lot 23 of said Swift and Thompson
Subdivision; thence N 050 29 ' 34" W, along the westerly line of
said Lot 23 , 461 . 26 feet to the northwesterly corner thereof ;
thence N 84° 10 ' 20" E, along the northerly line of Lot 23 ,

northwest corner of Block 5 of aforesaid Fair Acres Addition;

Street ; thence N 07° 46 ' 55" W, along said westerly line, 40. 34
feet to the southerly line of Stadium Drive ; thence
southeasterly along the southerly line of Stadium Drive , on a
curve to the left , having a radius of 1462 . 69 feet , a distance of
139. 62 feet ; thence S 040 52 ' 46" E, along the northerly
extension of the easterly line of and along the easterly line of
Lot 21 of Block 4 of said Fair Acres Subdivision, 216. 86 feet ;
thence N 83° 39 ' 21" E, 84. 80 feet to the easterly line of Lot
19, Block 4, of said Fair Acres Subdivision; thence S 04° 53 '
04" E, along the easterly line of said Lot 19, 16 . 00 feet to the
southeast corner thereof ; thence N 63° 07 ' 16" E, along the
southerly line of Lot 18, of said Block 4, of Fair Acres
Subdivision, 45 . 62 feet to the southest corner of said Lot 18;
thence N 85° 30' 28" E, along the northerly line of Lot 30, Block
No. 4, of said Fair Acres Subdivision, 31 . 20 feet to the
northwest corner of a tract of land described in Book 268, Page
142 , Cole County Recorder ' s Office ; thence S 050 49 ' 06" E,
along the westerly line of said tract . 950.00 feet to the
southwest corner of said tract ; thence N 66° 56 ' 38" E, along
the southerly line of said tract 315 .09 feet to the southeast
corner of said tract ; thence N 05° 49 ' 06" W, along the easterly
line of said tract , 195. 19 feet to the southwest corner of a
tract of land as described in Book 242 , Page 304 , Cole County
Recorder ' s Office; thence N 85° 30 ' 28" E, along the easterly
line of said tract , 150.00 feet to the east line of said Fair
Acres Subdivision; thence S 05° 49 ' 06" E, along the easterly
line of said Fair Acres Subdivision, 412 . 06 feet to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2. It appears that said plat has been duly and
properly signed and accepted by the owners of said subdivision
known and referred to as Southgate Subdivision, that all taxes
have been paid , and that in all respects the requirements of
Chapter 445 , Revised Statutes of Missouri, and amendments
thereto, entitled, "Plats" , have been fully complied with by the
aforesaid owners of said subdivision, and that in all respects
the requirements of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats and subdivisions ,
have been complied with.
SECTION 3 . The plat of Southgate Subdivision, lying, being
and situated within the corporate limits of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri , as shown by the said plat hereto attached
and made part of this ordinance , is hereby approved and accepted
by the City Council of the City of Jefferson, and the Mayor and
the City Clerk are authorized and directed to endorse acceptance
of said plat thereon and to certify to the approval of said plat
under the seal of the City of Jefferson, Missouri .

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of passage and approval.
