A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PREMIUM ONLY POLICY WITH TASC
Whereas, to keep the City in compliance with the IRS, which allows the city to collect
insurance premiums from the employees on a Pre -Tax basis, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin agrees that we should authorize the
signing of the attached contract for the Premium Only policy with TASC;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to have the
cost of $300 /year to the City for the agreement to approve the policy with TASC.
On the 25th day of April, 2012, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Weipert introduced Resolution No. 2012 -18, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING THE PREMIUM ONLY POLICY WITH TASC and made a motion for
approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan.
Ayes: Ball, Weipert, Ryan. Nays: none. Absent: Bartels and Upton.
Whereupon 3 Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2012 -18, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
PREMIUM ONLY POLICY WITH TASC TO be adopted and signified his approval of
the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 25th day of April, 2012.
