AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING CHAPTER
10 OF THE CITY CODE BY CHANGING THE TERM "CIVIL DEFENSE" TO THE TERM
"EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 10 of the City Code is hereby amended by changing
the term "civil defense" to the term "emergency preparedness" .
Section 2. The codifier of the City Code is hereby directed to
change the term "civil defense" to the term "emergency preparedness"
throughout Chapter 10. The codif ier is also directed to change the
title to Chapter 10 to read "Emergency Preparedness Agency and Emer-
gencies" .
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
